Under Wisconsin law, it is illegal to use or intend to use a credit card belonging to another individual, without that person’s consent, for the purposes of obtaining “money, goods, services or anything else of value.”

Using another individual’s credit card without their consent is considered a serious crime in Wisconsin. Penalties for such a crime depend on the value of the transaction, or attempted transaction. However, typical penalties include fines, and time in jail.
